EMergency

An emergency department, also known as an accident & emergency department, emergency room, emergency ward or casualty department, is a medical treatment facility specializing in emergency medicine, the acute care of patients who present without prior appointment; either by their own means or by that of an ambulance.

BLOOD BANK

A blood bank is a center where blood gathered as a result of blood donation is stored and preserved for later use in blood transfusion. The term “blood bank” typically refers to a division of a hospital where the storage of blood product occurs and where proper testing is performed.

AMBULANCE

Ambulances are used to respond to medical emergencies by emergency medical services. For this purpose, they are generally equipped with flashing warning lights and sirens. They can rapidly transport paramedics and other first responders to the scene, carry equipment for administering emergency care.

RADIOLOGY

Radiologists are medical doctors that specialize in diagnosing and treating injuries and diseases using medical imaging procedures (exams/tests) such as X-rays, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), nuclear medicine, positron emission tomography (PET) and ultrasound.

Laboratory services are provided in a variety of settings: physicians offices, clinics, hospitals, and regional and national referral centers.

Pharmacy is the clinical health science that links medical science with chemistry and it is charged with the discovery, production, control, disposal, safe and effective use of medications and drugs. The practice of pharmacy requires excellent knowledge of drugs, their mechanism of action, side effects, interactions, mobility.
